No beauty filter or trickery needed, this foundation stick is my holy grail for both texture and shade match. I use Polynesian Ivory to brighten, paradise island beige as a bronzer and Bora Bora Coral on the cheek. I feel like my fingers work better than the sponge applicator to melt the product into my skin.

For days when I want a minimalist, "single layer" makeup look, this combo is my go to.

As I trudge further into my 40s, my skin texture is changing and I can't use a liquid foundation, liquid concealer, powder to set, then powder blush/bronze/highlight. The fine lines and sun damage makes the makeup look heavy and it ages me. Just using a lightweight stick in a single layer with no overlap looks so much more fresh and natural, and I think what makes Tres Stique stand out from my other foundations is how seamless and natural the application is.

Through trial and error, I've found this foundation prefers to be warmed on the back of the hand and tapped on with fingers. I start with my brightening color (Polynesian Ivory) under my eyes, mid forehead, down the bridge and nose tip and center of the chin. Then I use Paradise Island Beige (a deeper/warmer tone) in place of a bronzer on my cheeks and forehead. Blush is tapped in last, and I don't even need to set it with powder.

I love the stick formulation - not too "glossy" or "flat" but a very natural looking satin formula. I've used it with my Tres Stique shades Polynesian Ivory and Paradise Island Beige as well as other oil based and water based foundations and it's never broken up.

The glide and blendability are on par with Nude Stix, slightly less pigmented and more emollient, which works well for my fair pink undertones.

The Shadow Crayon+ Brush (in all colors) is fantastic, even on more mature skin! It glides on smoothly, smudges fairly well and comes off easily with eye makeup remover. Color intensifies with added product and lasts for ours. Easy to touch up.

The primer is a bonus for when your lips are so dry they’re flakey or hard. Most lip formulas cause my lips to peel and get even more sore. I sampled the lip products from a beauty box years back. However , the taxes/duty/tariff is expensive but I don’t know where else to buy this and it is worth it. I have sampled most of the products and recommend any one of them. Go for the set if you can!
