My Favorite Lip Oil Formulation For Layering
Formula: thin, not sticky at all, lightweight and does not mess with any lipstick or liner I put underneath. Feels very moisturizing and my hair doesn't stick to it.
My favorite way to wear these lip oils is with a coordinating lip pencil for the trendy "90s lip liner and gloss" look, but with updated formulas from what we had available back then.
There is very little pigment in the formula, which makes layering them easy for a "your lips but better" combo.
I pair Bali Guava (a warm pinky rose) with Colourpop I Heart This Liner. French Fleur is a rosey nude that goes well with MAC Whirl. Seville Suede is a mid tone neutral brown that goes great with Persona 90210 liner. Siberian Gold is my personal favorite for the soft gold reflects in it and I use Uoma Angelou as a liner for the perfect "I'm not wearing anything" polished look.
I'm fair with pink undertones and feel like these lip oils are versatile and sheer enough to work with any skin undertone paired with your favorite liner and lip product. I prefer using them over a lip stain vs a matte liquid lip, as any oil will break up the matte lip and cause it to creep into fine lines.
